Новости свободы слова - получил первый страйк на LinkedIn.
Пожалуй продублирую пост сюда. Отмечу для контекста, что пытался быть нейтральным, но 2 мая увидел в ленте LinkedIn пост в поддержку Азова, так что просто вскипел и попросил всех кто хочет такое постить в профессиональной сети - удалиться.
"I generally don't bring politics into professional setting, but over last 2-3 month my news feed became similar to some trashy Facebook, so I guess now it is acceptable. So, I want to make one request to my network. But prior to making this request - a little bit of context.
On 2nd of May 2014 several hundred of people gathered in Odessa to protest against unlawful coup on Ukraine. As result, ukrainian nazist driven them into a building, put it on fire and incinerated 48 of them alive. Some people tried to escape by jumping out of windows - they were beaten to death outside by nazist.
Not a single organizer of this massacre was arrested or punished. Official representatives of ukrainian state were making jokes about this events - such as “We cooked a nice Russian kebab" etc. In fact, survivors themselves were oppressed, arrested, and ultimately had to immigrate from country due to their pro-Russian views.
Now, that's the context. I can't request a lot - over last 3 month a lot of companies and individuals made it very clear that me and my people are second-class underhumans. For 8 years we can be murdered, oppressed, put to jail, prohibited to study in our native language. Our cities can be bombed by ukrainian state with full support of so-called “civilized world”.
However - I don't pull politics into the professional setting, so my request is simple, I don't ask anyone to fix the world and make if fair. I just ask - if you can’t hold your opinion to yourself and still want to make a post in support of nazist from Azov battalion or spread some made-up fairy-tales about my motherland - please, delete yourself from my network. That's it.
I just want to get back to my old good linkedin newsfeed where I can read corporate acquisition announcements, scientific publications and tips for improving ML pipelines. For heated political debates there is Facebook"
Но тут мы лишний раз можем убедиться, что LinkedIn в России забанен видимо по делу - ибо обилие постов про миллиард расстрелянных лично Путиным и что каждый русский ест детей на завтрак политики сети не нарушает.
P.S. К слову, вчера любопытства ради смотрел странички великих пацифистов, которые против войны - про годовщину Одессы никто ничего не написал. Видимо, там неправильные люди гибли.
